The strange case of three men charged with spying for Hong Kong is the latest case in the city's rich history of spies, surveillance and repression.

There was an intriguing line in the British Government’s official statement of 14 May 2024 about three men who have been arrested and charged in London with offences under the UK’s National Security Act of 2023.
